Images are resized and re-saved as JPEG; text and vector graphics stay sharp and selectable. A file is only replaced when the result is actually smaller. Use Compare to check quality side by side.

How it works

Compress PDF

Shrink scanned documents, invoices and image-heavy PDFs by resizing and re-encoding images. Text and vector graphics stay sharp and searchable. Pick Screen, eBook, Printer or Lossless quality and compare before you download.

Merge PDF

Combine several PDFs into one, drag to reorder, choose page ranges such as 1-3,7 and optimize the result in the same step. A live preview shows every page of the final document.

Split PDF

Extract pages or cut a PDF into parts: every page, every N pages, custom ranges, or click between page thumbnails to place cuts. Download each part or everything as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Is Zodinet PDF Tool free?

Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of files.

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?

No. All compressing, merging and splitting happens inside your browser on your own computer. Your files are never uploaded or stored anywhere.

Does it work offline on Windows and macOS?

Yes. Use “Download offline version” to save the whole app as one HTML file, then open it in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox on Windows or macOS without an internet connection.

How much can a PDF be compressed?

It depends on the content. Scanned and image-heavy PDFs often shrink by 60–95%, while text-only PDFs change little because they are already small. A file is only replaced when the result is actually smaller.

Will compressing a PDF make the text blurry?

No. Only images are resized and re-encoded; text and vector graphics are kept exactly as they are, so they stay sharp and selectable.

Can it open password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then compress, merge or split the file here.
